The Euclid Corridor Transportation Project. It’s really going places.
With the first phase slated for completion in 2007, the Euclid Corridor Transportation Project is the largest public transportation project in Cleveland history. This $168.4 million project of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is designed to carry workers from Cleveland’s east side and eastern suburbs to downtown jobs, as well as linking downtown to University Circle, with its cultural opportunities, major hospitals, Case Western Reserve University and other destinations. It includes an environmentally friendly Bus Rapid Transit between Downtown’s Public Square and Windermere station just east of University Circle. The project also includes beautiful streetscape improvements, creating an attractive, user-friendly transportation route down the center of Euclid Avenue, through the Theater, Quadrangle and Midtown districts.
